LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA: BUSINESS BEGINNERS IN CYBER SECURITY

 

An introductory or GCSE-level course of 20 weeks provides the opportunity to gain basic fluency and new essential skills from scratch. Ideal for beginners looking to acquire an employable specialism, and for aspiring or current entrepreneurs who want to keep their business safe.

Entry Requirements:

  • Qualification at Level 1 and/or work experience in a business environment.

  • Alternatively, a Level 2 qualification in another discipline.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA: CYBER SECURITY MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

 

This is an intermediate-level course of 24 weeks that runs at foundation or A-Level equivalent standard. It will progress the career and skills of anyone with pre-existing IT knowledge, and provide effective tools for independent security risk management. Ideal for upcoming leaders who are looking to stand out within their field.

  • Qualifications at Level 2 (UK GCSE equivalent) and/or work experience in a business environment.

LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA: CYBER SECURITY

 

This 48-week qualification begins at a first-year undergraduate degree standard, and is designed for those with pre-existing technical knowledge or a Level 3-equivalent qualification in IT or Cyber Security. It helps IT experts move towards an advanced, leading career in Cyber Security and enables the provision of professional expertise to businesses.

  • Module 2: Network Security & Data Communications

  • Module 3: Databases & Programming

  • Module 4: Incident Response, Investigations and Forensics

Entry Requirements:

  • Qualifications at Level 3 (UK A Level or foundation equivalent), possibly with some technical and risk management experience in a computing or security business environment.

  • Alternatively, a Level 4 qualification in another discipline.

LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA: CYBER SECURITY

 

This 52-week course is equivalent to the second year of a university degree and provides advanced preparation for a leading career in Cyber Security. It is semi-technical, and includes both a coding and programming module as well as expert guidance on Cyber Security as a management discipline and industry. Ideal for anyone with Level 4 qualifications in IT or Cyber Security who wants to remain at the forefront of their field as well as hone their business leadership skills.

Course Structure:

  • Module 1: Cryptography (30 Credits)

  • Module 2: Digital Investigations and Forensics (30 Credits)

  • Module 3: Communications and Incident Management (30 Credits)

  • Module 4: Digital Leadership (30 Credits)

Entry Requirements:

  • Qualifications at Level 4 (equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree), preferably with some technical and risk management work experience in a computing or security business environment.

  • Alternatively, a Level 5 qualification in another discipline.
